Welcome to P4J! My name is Mrs. Kathleen (Katie) Adams, and this is my 5th year at Cargill, and my 4th year teaching P4J. I have taught P4J since the first year of P4J in the School District of Janesville, but took last year off from teaching to work very part-time and stay home with my new baby (not so new anymore!). This year I am only teaching in the morning, and will spend the rest of
my day serving as the Program Support Teacher for the center. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in History from UW-Madison, and then continued on to earn a Master's of Arts in Teaching from Western Governor's University as well as my Early Childhood Certification from UW-Whitewater.
My family includes my husband, Donald, our six-year-old daughter, Lauren, and one-year-old son, Ian. As a family we enjoy attending local events and festivals, traveling, and playing outside. I also enjoy reading, selling and shopping on eBay, and gardening. I am also the leader of my daughter's Daisy Girl Scout troop, so I stay pretty busy!
A few of my favorite things:
Favorite color: Purple
Favorite candy: Kit Kats
Favorite season: Fall
Favorite sport: Gymnastics & Football (Go Packers!)
Favorite TV Show: Grey's Anatomy
Favorite animal: Frog
Favorite restaurant: Fuji (but I'll eat anywhere!)
My crazy family :)
